Overpeck Receives Nobel

Jonathan Overpeck, Director of Arizona Research Labs' Institute for the Study of Planet Earth, is part of a group of scientists awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. Overpeck is one of 33 lead authors with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which will share this year’s prize along with former Vice President Al Gore.
